Emmory Reagan Shapses Classic
My big brother Scott who lives in Los Angeles flew to New York via the red eye for an incredible cause. He participated in a charity golf tournament to raise money and awareness for a genetic disease called Tuberous Sclerosis Complex. It is life threatening and often misdiagnosed. It causes epilepsy, cancer, autism, kidney disease, heart disease and brain tumors.A work colleague of my brother has a 10 year old daughter , Emmory, who was diagnosed with this at 4 months of age.Marla and Marc Shapses formed in 1999 the ERS Charitable Foundation named for their daughter. Today they raised over $400,000.
