Jim Kuhner and Mark Armenante are the men behind this gorgeous looking wine store. They are a welcome addition to northern Tribeca with the store divided in two separated by a wine bar for daily tastings with new world wines on one side and old world on the other. Their wine selection is very ‘BOUTIQUE’ and from the samplings I had at their opening party very exciting to the palette. I really enjoyed Di Giovanna Nerello Mascalese an organic wine from Sicily as well as the Clos du Caillou a Cote du Rhone made up mostly of Grenache. Prices begin around $16 a bottle and there are many that are in that price range that are excellent. What I love about this wine shop is that even though they are housed in Tribeca they know good wines don’t always have to be expensive!
