Pinot Noir via Central Otago

I had blogged 2 weeks back about wondering if I should take on this particular Pinot Noir. My uncertainty had nothing to do with what I thought about the wine because I thought it was excellent. It had more to do with the price point. I know customers will come to my place and spend $60 to $75 on a good Malbec but will they spend it on a Pinot Noir? This weekend I only bought  half a case, a favor that the winemaker did for me, and I have sold out of it at $65 a bottle. So I am glad I trusted my instincts and we will be stocking up on this perfect example of a Pinot Noir.
