This is the title of an article from Wednesday’s New York Post food section. I was called 2 weeks ago by the writer Cynthia Killian who happened upon my blog. She said she was doing a story on couples in the restaurant industry and the ability for these relationships to survive the business of food and or the business itself. I spent 30 minutes on the phone telling her my story/journey.This was actually a cathartic experience because it was one of the few times I actually had great perspective on it from a business point of view. I got off the phone feeling really great that I survived that passage of time and came out a winner. It was great to read how the article turned out and how true to the facts the writer Cynthia remained. She took an idea and instead of making it Page 6 material made it a positive and truthful inside scoop on the realities of mixing business with pleasure and that we all can walk away with a limited amount of scarring.
