Cavaniola’s Gourmet Cheese Shop

 Friday night I had dinner at the wonderful home of Roberta and Nikos Morrell.I knew I would be in for a wondeful evening of dinking fine wines since they are one of the top purveyors of wine in New York but the food mostly prepared by Roberta was also top notch.Before we dove into fabulous local pies at the end of our meal we enjoyed a medley of cheese that came from local cheese makers, out west and France. They each were excellent most notaby Humboldt Fog. I asked Nikos where he purchased the cheeses and he said it was from a shop in Sag Harbor. I went there the next day to re-capture my cheese orgasm.
