“Drink and be Merry”

Eric Asimov’s Wednesday column in the New York Times talks about wines that are tied to the Euro(mostly French and Italian) will soon be increasing in price, some by 10 to 30%.This ultimately affects wine pricing in restaurants because the wholesale prices will increase.

The good news is that Argentina still can’t compete with the US dollar and therefore this is a good time to take up some Argentine wines. Great wines are being produced from there and many Vineyards are pairing up with French winemakers such as the Lafite family to produce some really elegant wines.Come to Estancia 460 where we offer many wines from Argentina and they are not just Malbecs!
